Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the operator of Morning Meteor Haven ("we", "us") handles personal information in connection with this website and with the enquiries sent to us. It is written with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (APPI) in mind. We have tried to describe it plainly, so that you can decide how you wish to deal with us.

What we collect
We collect only what you give us yourself, and only through two routes: the enquiry form on this site and email or telephone contact.
- · Through the enquiry form: your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message.
- · By email: your email address, the name shown on your message, and the content and attachments you send.
- · By telephone: the number you call from and what you tell us during the call, which we may note down.
- · Technical data: this website does not run analytics, advertising tags, or tracking. Like any web server, the server that delivers the pages may keep ordinary access logs (such as IP address, date and time, and requested page) for a limited period for security and fault-finding. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
Please do not put the personal details of job applicants or employees in an enquiry. We do not need them to answer a question about our services, and the form is not a channel for candidate records.
Why we use it
We use personal information for the following purposes, and for no others without telling you first:
- · to read and answer your enquiry about our services;
- · to prepare a scope and a written quotation if you ask for one, and to arrange meetings and calls;
- · to carry out and document a service once an engagement has been agreed in writing;
- · to keep a record of correspondence so that we can answer later questions about the same matter;
- · to meet legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records for paid services.
We do not send newsletters or marketing mail unless you have asked us to. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing with others
We do not provide your personal information to third parties, except where the law requires it or where you have agreed to it. Our email is delivered through a mail service provider, so messages you send to us pass through that provider's servers; the provider handles them only to deliver and store the mail.
We do not currently pass personal information to anyone in a foreign country for our own purposes. If that changes, for example because we start using a service operated outside Japan, we will update this page beforehand and will take the steps the APPI requires for such transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for as long as needed to deal with it and with any follow-up, and then delete it or, if it has led to an engagement, keep it for the period the engagement and our accounting obligations call for. Enquiries that lead nowhere are deleted within a reasonable time.
Safeguards
We take reasonable measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of the personal information we hold, including limiting access to the people who need it to deal with your matter, using accounts protected by passwords, and keeping devices up to date. If a leak occurs that the APPI requires us to report, we will report it to the Personal Information Protection Commission and inform the people affected.
Applicant and employee data in our services
Some of our services, such as Application Handling Setup and Interview Record Support, involve the personal information of job applicants. In those engagements the applicant data belongs to the client company, which decides why and how it is used and is responsible for telling applicants about it. We act on the client's instructions.
Before any real applicant data is processed, the written scope names the systems that will hold it, whether an external AI service is involved, and whether any of it would leave Japan. Interview records are made only when the candidate has been told in advance, and records are kept for the period the client chooses. None of our services makes or recommends a hiring decision; a person on the client's side reads and corrects every summary.
Your rights
In relation to personal data that we hold about you, you may ask us to:
- · tell you the purposes of use and disclose the data (Article 33 of the APPI);
- · correct, add to, or delete data that is inaccurate (Article 34);
- · stop using, or delete, data that is handled in breach of the Act or that we no longer need (Article 35);
- · tell you about the measures we take to keep it safe.
To make a request, write to info@morningmeteorhaven.com or use the postal address above. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act, and we will answer within a reasonable time. A request may be declined only in the cases the law allows, and we will tell you why.
