This page explains what this website stores in your browser. The short version is that it stores nothing: Morning Meteor Haven does not use cookies, local storage, or tracking tools.

What the site does not use

• · No cookies, whether first-party or third-party.
• · No local storage, session storage, or IndexedDB entries created by the site.
• · No analytics services, advertising tags, remarketing pixels, or social-media widgets.
• · No consent banner, because there is nothing to ask consent for.

What the site does load

Pages are delivered as plain HTML. The layout is drawn with a stylesheet library (Tailwind) that is served from this same website, and the typefaces used are the ones already installed on your device; the site does not fetch fonts or scripts from other companies. The small script on each page only opens and closes the menu on narrow screens.

When you open a page, your browser sends the usual request to the web server, which may note it in an access log (IP address, time, and page) for security and fault-finding. This is not a cookie and we do not use it to build profiles of visitors.

The enquiry form

The form sends what you type, such as your name, email address, and message, so that we can answer you. It does not create a cookie or a stored identifier in your browser. How we handle those details is described in the Privacy Policy.

Links to other sites

We do not link to outside services from the main pages. If you follow a link to another website, that site may set cookies of its own, and its own policy applies.

Why there is no banner

Cookie banners exist to ask for consent before a site stores or reads information on your device for purposes that are not strictly necessary. Because this site does not do that, a banner would only be decoration, and it would suggest that something was being tracked when nothing is. If that ever changes, a banner and a settings page will be added together with the change, as described below.

An earlier version of these pages contained a cookie banner and a preference panel with switches for advertising and analytics storage. They were removed because no such storage was ever in use, and a set of switches that control nothing is misleading.

Access logs in more detail

The web server that delivers these pages is run by a hosting provider. Servers of this kind normally keep an access log with the visitor's IP address, the time, the page requested, and the browser's identification string. Such logs are used to keep the service secure and to find faults, and are kept only for a limited time. We do not use them for advertising, we do not combine them with the details you give us in an enquiry, and we do not pass them to anyone else except where the law requires it.

What you can check yourself

• · Open the developer tools of your browser, go to the application or storage panel, and look at cookies, local storage, and session storage for this address. They should be empty.
• · Open the network panel and reload a page. Every request should go to this same address.
• · View the page source. The only script besides the layout library is a few lines that open and close the menu.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics, advertising, or anything else that stores or reads information on your device, we will do three things before it goes live: we will update this page to describe it, we will ask for your consent where the law and good practice call for it, and we will add a way to withdraw that consent as easily as it was given.

Controlling your browser

Because the site sets no cookies, you do not have to change anything to browse it. If you want to check for yourself, the developer tools of your browser show the cookies and storage of this site in their application or storage panel; the list should be empty.
